Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this site collects when you visit, get in touch, or book a call with Nikolina Belic (Innoversium), and how that information is used, stored, and protected.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data collected through this site is Nikolina Belic PR Innoversium, a sole proprietorship registered in Serbia, at Dr Milana Kostica 48, 22000 Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia. You can reach me at nina@innoversium.com.

This policy is written to meet Serbia's Law on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who this applies to

This policy covers innoversium.com and any information you provide by email, through the booking link, or through this site directly. It does not cover third-party sites this site links to, including LinkedIn and Calendly, which have their own privacy policies.

Contact information you provide

If you email nina@innoversium.com or connect via LinkedIn, any information you share — your name, email address, company, and the content of your message — is used only to respond to you and, if an engagement follows, to deliver that work. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Booking data (Calendly)

The "Book a fit call" and "This is my situation" buttons on this site open Calendly's scheduling widget, either as an on-page popup or, if that widget can't load, as a new tab to Calendly's site directly. Calendly is a third-party service, not operated by Nikolina Belic or Innoversium. When you book a call, Calendly collects the information you enter directly (name, email, and any notes you add) under its own privacy policy. Review Calendly's terms at calendly.com/privacy before booking.

Information gathered through a booking is used to schedule, prepare for, and follow up on the call.

Decision brief sharing ("Should We Build This?")

The Should We Build This? tool is free to use without providing any information. Your answers stay in your browser for the length of your session and are never sent anywhere unless you choose to share your result.

If you choose to use the optional "Want a second opinion on your decision?" section at the end of a result, and submit that form, the following is sent directly to Nikolina: the name you entered (if any), your email address, and two clearly separated parts — the generated decision brief (recommendation, reasoning, evidence, and next action) and your own assessment answers as you reported them (your idea description, who it's for, the benefits, alternatives, required changes, evidence, consequences, uncertainty, and any AI-related answers). Nothing is sent unless you fill in your email, check the consent box, and click "Share my decision."

This submission is handled by Netlify Forms, a feature of this site's hosting provider, not a separate marketing or CRM tool. It is used only to let Nikolina review your idea and reply to you directly — you are not added to a mailing list or any recurring communication as a result of submitting this form. Submitted briefs are stored in Netlify's Forms dashboard for this site and kept for the period described under "Data retention" below; you can request deletion at any time (see "Requesting deletion" below). No information from this form — or from your answers generally — is ever sent to Google Analytics. Only which button was clicked and the computed recommendation category are recorded there; see "Analytics" below.

1 minute Build Check and brief request

The 1 minute Build Check on the home page asks five Yes / Not yet questions and shows a result immediately. Your answers stay in your browser and are not stored or sent anywhere.

If you choose to request the Build Decision Brief, and submit that form, the following is sent to Nikolina: your email address and your result (its title and a short summary of the main risk and next step). Your individual Yes / Not yet answers are not included. Nothing is sent unless you enter your email, tick the consent box and click "Send me my brief."

This submission is handled by Netlify Forms, as described above, and is used to respond to your brief request. Ticking the box does not subscribe you to a mailing list or recurring emails; any ongoing email would be offered separately, with its own explicit consent. You can request deletion at any time (see "Requesting deletion" below). None of this is sent to Google Analytics; only aggregate events such as the result category are recorded there, and only if you accepted analytics.

Cookies and analytics consent

This site does not load Google Analytics 4 (GA4), or store analytics attribution data, until you actively choose to allow it. On your first visit, a small banner offers two equally available choices — "Accept analytics" and "Reject analytics" — and nothing analytics-related is loaded while that choice is pending.

If you accept, GA4 loads and this site uses it to understand aggregate visitor behavior — for example which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked, and whether a visit led to a booked call. GA4 may use cookies and collect information such as approximate location, device type, and browsing behavior on this site. This site does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any free-text form content to GA4, and does not use GA4 (or anything else) for advertising or personalization. Analytics events record which button was clicked and where on the page, not who clicked it.

If you accept, this site also stores a small amount of non-personal attribution data in your browser (such as which campaign or referring site first brought you here) so that a booking completed later in the same browser can still be credited to its original source. This data stays in your browser's local storage and is not personal information.

If you reject, GA4 is never loaded, no analytics events are sent, and no attribution data is stored — any attribution data from an earlier "accept" is deleted at that moment. The rest of the site works exactly the same either way: the decision tool, its optional email-sharing form, and every booking link continue to work whether you accept or reject.

If you withdraw consent after previously accepting — using "Cookie settings," see below — analytics collection stops immediately (nothing further is sent to GA4 for the rest of that visit or any later one), and this site deletes the GA4 cookies it can reach from your browser (typically named _ga and _ga_…) at that moment, the same as on an explicit reject. These are first-party cookies this site itself sets, not ones controlled by a third party, so deleting them is something the site itself can do directly. What withdrawal cannot do is retroactively delete data already sent to Google before you withdrew — that data is governed by Google's own retention settings, described at the link below, the same as for any GA4 property.

Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so you aren't asked again on every visit. You can change or withdraw it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page.

GA4 data, when active, is subject to Google's own privacy practices, described at policies.google.com/privacy.

"Do Not Track" and third parties

This site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals as such. Instead, analytics only runs if you choose "Accept analytics" in the banner. Apart from the hosting provider described below, the third parties that may collect information through this site are Google (only if you accept analytics) and Calendly (only when you open the booking scheduler).

Why I use your information

• Analytics and attribution storage: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with "Cookie settings."
• Decision brief and Build Check brief forms: your consent, given by ticking the box before you submit.
• Email, LinkedIn messages and booking a call: to reply to you and take steps you ask for before an engagement, and my legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
• Hosting logs: my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.

Giving me personal information is never required to read this site. Analytics is optional, and the forms and booking only need the details described above; without them I cannot reply or schedule a call.

Automated results

The "Should We Build This?" tool and the 1 minute Build Check calculate a suggested result from your answers, in your browser. The result is informational. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you by automated means.

Hosting (Netlify)

This site is hosted on Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify's infrastructure automatically logs standard technical information for every request — such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp — for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes. This is Netlify's standard server logging, not something configured specifically for this site. See Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Netlify also checks form submissions for spam using Akismet, a spam-filtering service, before they appear in the Netlify dashboard.

Transfers outside Serbia

Google (analytics), Netlify (hosting and forms) and Calendly (scheduling) are US-based companies and may process data outside Serbia, the European Economic Area and the UK. Where a provider's terms include standard contractual clauses or other transfer safeguards, I rely on them. Analytics data is sent to Google only if you accept analytics.

Data retention

• Email and booking details: kept while a conversation or engagement lasts, and afterward only as long as needed for business records or as Serbian accounting and tax law requires.
• Decision briefs and Build Check brief requests (stored in Netlify Forms): deleted within 12 months of submission, unless they have led to an engagement.
• Google Analytics 4 data (only if you accepted analytics): event-level data is kept for 14 months and then deleted by Google. Aggregated reports without individual-level data may be kept longer.
• Your cookie choice: stored in your browser until you change or clear it.

Your rights

You can ask, at any time, to:

• See what information is held about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Have your information deleted
• Restrict how it is used
• Object to its use
• Receive a copy in a portable format, where the processing is based on consent or on a contract
• Withdraw your consent (this does not affect what was done before you withdrew)
• Opt out of any future contact

These rights apply regardless of where you are located.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, please write to me first. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Serbia, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs), or the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.

Requesting deletion

To request access, correction, or deletion of your information, email nina@innoversium.com with the subject line "Privacy request." Requests are handled directly and confirmed by email once complete.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site or its tools change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
